Nail art design - Teardrop French

This stylish nail art design is a perfect solution for those who are not used to wearing nail art yet. It is unpretentious, yet sophisticated and unconventional.

Prepare all tools and place them at an arm length, so that you don’t get crazy looking for something which you need straight away.

You’ll want to use: a tug of basic coat, a traditional French manicure kit, black acrylic, a dotter brush and a fine nail art brush, top nail coat.

How to make:

Make a traditional French manicure design in a pink-and-white palette. Leave it to dry out. With your fine brush take the tiniest amount of black acrylic and create a tear drop shape pattern. In our example the teardrop is upside-down. If you like it traditional, go ahead! Make sure it is set to overlap both white and pink zones.

Now take your dotter brush. Pick up modest amounts of black and paint tiny dots, following the outline of the teardrop. It’s better to take the paint a few times than to create an untidy look. One separately set dot should be applied to the white edge.

Switch to the fine brush. Create the flower design near the dot. It does not matter if it looks like an amateur picture. The entire design implies such idea. Don’t forget to paint a dot in the center of the flower.

As a final stroke, create a semi-arc line and a dot on the tip near the flower. Leave it to dry.

Finish with some clear coating.
