Flashy NailsFlashy nails are among the hottest trends of this season. We, the nails nerds, just could not overlook it.
The technology itself is similar flashy, as is used in cars design tuning.
The nails are covered with special glue as basic coating, and left for a while. After that transfer foil is applied. In a few minutes the excess of foil is removed, and your nails look unforgettably glass-shining! There are several designs seen around: Silver, Golden, and Bronze. These are the basics, which started the trend.
Today designers came up with traditional colors made in a flashy style. You can find beautiful purple, violet, green and yellow colors in modern flashy palettes. A beautiful look can be achieved by combining a traditional nail polish with a flashy foil. For example, make a bed of an eyes-taking purple. Finish it with a bright violet.
Let the nails dry out.
Cut flash foil of your preferred color. In our opinion, silver looks great on violet, but you might as well like gold or bronze.
We recommend you train yourself in cutting the foil beforehand, as for the very first time it can appear somewhat junky.
The main difficulty is to figure out a decent foil size, because once you lay it on the nail, you see it is still oversized and needs trimming. And believe us, there are very few things that are more tedious than cutting tiny slices of flash foil, which tends to pull and buckle.
We suggest you decorate only one finger (for example, the ring finger) with the foil.
The result is a spider’s web on violet, resembling a broken glass of a telescope aiming to research the Universe!
